Superior Fertilisers specialise in custom blend fertiliser - working from Soil Test Results from any Testing Laboratory, we can make a specific blend to suit the individual paddock. Superior Fertilisers use a biological activator during the prilling process of our
natural rock mineral fertilisers, which adds Micro-Organisms to the
fertiliser. All types of
fertilisers are dependant on Micro-Organisms breaking them down into a form readily available to the plant. So it stands to reason that we load the
fertiliser with microbes so they can go to work immediately - however, in soils that have very little microbial activity (which can be caused from several reasons) we offer
the service of coating the outside of the granulated minerals with Fish Emulsion, which we believe contains a good balance of Micro-Organisms. Alternatively, if the farmer has the appropriate machinery, Fish Emulsion may be purchased and applied as a foliar spray or applied through the irrigation system.
Superior Fertilisers have
mineral based fertilisers - a combination of granulated natural rock
mineral fertiliser & chemical fertiliser. We understand that farmers have been dependant for many years on artificial fertilisers (chemicals) so we have developed
blends that will give the benefits of rock mineral
fertiliser but also give good levels of Nitrogen, Phosphorus & Potassium to ensure high yields.
With time, we can increase the amount of rock minerals used, cutting back on the dependancy of chemicals & thus introducing a sustainable & biological approach to farming methods. These products are used in cereal cropping, summer grains,
cotton & horticulture crops.

A combination of blended natural rock minerals such as Rock Phosphate, Granite, Basalt, Natural Gypsum, AgLime, Coal Fines & Crushed Lava, prilled by the Company
so it is supplied in a granulated form. Four of these products are Registered by the BFA (Biological Farmers Association) for use by Certified Organic Growers.
These
fertilisers can be used in all types of Agriculture to condition the soil, improve water retention, increase the levels of all macro & trace elements, raise pH levels in acid soils,
increase organic matter & organic carbon.

soil conditioners - to open up the soil structure, improve water retention, increase levels of all elements, adjust pH, add organic matter & organic carbon to the soil, add calcium to help balance the Ca:Mg ratio. A
slow release fertiliser that continues to work over a period of months, it is usually applied between crops to help condition the soil in preparation for future crops.
